ITP Outreach Library

What is the Library?  The Outreach Library is a collection of over 400 videotapes, CD-ROMs, DVD, books and booksets. The library was started in 1997 to provide material to help Kentucky interpreters improve their skills.

Who Can Use the Library? The Library can be used by anyone who lives or works in Kentucky and is trying to improve their signing and/or interpreting skills.

What is in the library? We have over 400 items that are grouped by three different ways: 1) they type of practice you can use the materials for, 2) different topics the materials fall into, and 3) the format of the material, e.g. videotapes, CD-ROMS, DVD, books or book sets. How do I borrow materials? Send us a request form .  You can print out the request form and mail it to us. When we receive your form, we will mail the materials to you.

What can I borrow? You can borrow two items at one time.  We have a few items that come as a set - in this case you can borrow one 'set' at a time  (these are noted as Book Sets (BS) in the catalogue).

How long can I keep them? Materials can be kept for 3 weeks.  When we mail you the materials, we will enclose information letting you know when the materials are due.

How do I return them? You send them to us through the mail.  We ask that you insure the materials, which will cost approxmately $3.00 -$5.00.  This will cover replacement cost in case of damage.
